The spider attacks!

To make my point, I'm not going to specify the spider's damage rate. I will also leave out the health of the player.
From the screen we can see that our health glow has decreased by about a third. Since we know where we were relative to our max health, players know when they are in danger or not. Experienced players will be able to almost tell you the percentage health even though it's a smooth progression.
