Contracts
- Two people, One Action, One Result.
- Link Options:
- Sequential: Part A must be completed before Part B.
- Concurrant: All parts completed in any order.
- Simultaneous: All parts completed at the same time.
- Exclusive: The first part completed nulls all other parts.
- Timed Contracts: (A contract with an exclusive link to a cronological event, 'i.e. The day becomes the 13th of October').
- Failure clause: (A contract with an exclusive link to a default action, i.e. Item not created so must pay 50 gold fine.)
- Open Contracts: (Bulletin board posting of an multiple person quest.)
- Contract Interface allows to view all contract details and linked contracts.
- Each contract has the Istarian Date of agreement, plus age of contract.
Process: (work in progress)
- Party of the first part, privately, or in correlation with affected parties completes the 'Contract Wizard' to define the terms of the contract.
- Contract Item is "traded" with Party of the Second part, and a simultaneous window close is required to 'sign' the contract. (If desired (for open contracts) Party of the first part may pre-sign in a statement saying he accepts all contracts.)
- The contract is placed in the Quest Log/Contact List of all affected parties. This can be checked at any time. A contract can be nullified by a simultaneous window close of both parties.
- Any existing predefined result is put into stasis at the time of the contract signing. (i.e. Cash reward) Non-existing results or resultant actions must be secured through Failure clauses.
